The APCChE was founded in 1975 through the efforts of Professor T. Mizushima of Kyoto University, Japan. It was formed to provide a focus for various non-profit societies, associations and institutions working in the field of Chemical Engineering in the Asia Pacific region. APCChE comprises of member Societies in 13 countries and regions, namely: China, Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Thailand, India, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Institution of Chemical Engineers (UK) are corresponding members.
This proceedings is comprised of 22 academic symposia with 485 plenary, keynote, oral and poster presentations by authors from 23 countries and regions, covering not only the Asia Pacific regions but also around the world.
