World Urban Transit Conference (WUTC 2010), took place on 20 – 22 October 2010, Resorts World, Sentosa Singapore. Participated more than 600 delegates from 15 countries who have travelled from Europe, America and other parts of Asia in conference.
WUTC 2010 aims to bring together the international community of rail transit infrastructure professionals and specialists to meet, share and discuss the latest developments and technologies in delivering an effective and efficient rail transit system.
As we move into the new millennium, the rail community is faced with ever more complex demands. Rail transit is developing into the main mode of transport to support growing urban population in cities, has brought about the need for efficiency to curb rising energy costs and the threat of global warming posed new challenges for this industry.
