Deformed Model Analyses of Waveguide Slot Array Antenna

ABSTRACT

A method to integrate the structural and the electromagnetic analyses of a waveguide slot array antenna with deformed model analyses is presented. Through model transforming from solid element to surface element and inner cavity extraction from surface model, design and deformed models can then be analyzed in electromagnetic analyses. The result of such analyses is closer to the actual product than the design model. Through comparisons of the test results and the analyzing results of an actual waveguide slot array antenna, it reveals that our method is reasonable and correct
