Professor Suhas P. Sukhatme has been at the forefront of research and education in the area of heat transfer for over four decades. His devotion to his students and passion for enhancing research efforts have been the hallmark of his visionary leadership. He completed his professional career as the Director of IIT Bombay from 1995 to 2000, and as the Chairman of Atomic Energy Regulatory Board from 2000 to 2005.
