Welcome Message

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Third International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI-2014) and to Delhi, the capital of India. ICACCI is Asia’s yearly Flagship conference. Since its inauguration in 2012, ICACCI has developed into a reputable conference and is well attended by experts in all aspects related to computing and information from all over the world. It is a premier conference, providing an excellent forum for exchange of ideas among interested researchers, students, developers, and practitioners in the areas of computing, communications, and informatics. This edition is organized by Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, in association with Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, the International Neural Network Society (INNS), and India Chapter and Research Publishing Services (RPS), Singapore. The Conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Communications Society and IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society.

The Conference features 32 contributed paper sessions, 1 industry track session, 13 tutorials, 10 keynote addresses, poster/demo sessions, a doctoral consortium, a student research symposium, a panel discussion on "Current and Future Roles of Women in Computing and Informatics", 17 workshops and 10 symposiums. The Second International Symposium on Women in Computing and Informatics (WCI-2014) is co-affiliated with the main track to serve as a platform to explore the opportunities as well as the diverse challenges facing women in computing and allied areas. There are two symposiums - the Third International Symposium on Intelligent Informatics (ISI'14) and the Second International Symposium on Security in Computing and Communications (SSCC'14) co-located with ICACCI-2014. We received a record number of submissions this year with 1787 manuscripts, out of which 473 (369 regular papers, 56 short papers and 48 poster papers) have been accepted. The accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. The co-located events, ISI-2014 and SSCC-2014, attracted 197 and 132 submissions, respectively.

The success of the Conference depends ultimately on the many people who have worked with us in planning and organizing both the technical program and supporting local arrangements. In particular, we thank the Program Chairs, Industry Track Chair, Special Track Chairs, Tutorial Chairs, Doctoral Consortium Chairs, Demo/Posters Track Chair, Keynote/Industry Speaker Chairs, Publication Chairs, andWorkshop and Symposium Chairs for their wise advice and brilliant suggestions and contributions to the technical program. We would like to offer special thanks to all technical committees, and the external reviewers for their diligent work in reviewing and helping to select papers. We would like to thank the authors for choosing ICACCI as the channel to present their quality research. We would also like to thank all workshop and symposium organisers, and those who have agreed to chair sessions. Our most sincere thanks go to all keynote and tutorial speakers who shared with us their expertise and knowledge.

We wish to thank all the members of the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee, whose work and commitment were invaluable.
