Dear APT 2012 Delegates

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to provide you with a brief summary on the conference program for the 5th Asian Particle Technology Symposium for 2012 with the theme “Particle Technology: Fundamentals and Applications for Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and Energy Research in the 21th Century”.

Scheduled over the period 2-5 July, 2012 at the National University of Singapore, the 5th Asian Particle Technology Symposium is comprised of 201 plenary, keynote, oral and poster presentations by authors from 23 countries and regions, covering not only the Asia Pacific regions but also around the world. The topics of presentations have wide coverage on the subjects of classical and emerging particle technology. Please refer to the program book and E-Proceedings for the extended abstracts/abstracts of these papers. Short biography of invited, keynote and plenary speakers is available at the following conference website for references (http://rpsonline.com.sg/apt12/).

I would like to take up this opportunity to acknowledge the contributions by authors of the submitted research papers and technical committee members for their review on the scientific program. We plan to announce the APT 2012 Best Poster Presentation Award and APT 2012 Young Investigator Award winners in the conference banquet dinner on July 4th, 2012 at the Singapore Flyer / MEGU.

Look forward to meeting up with all of you during the APT 2012 in Singapore.

Sincerely yours,
Chi-Hwa Wang
