Prof. J. Temuujin is currently Principal Research Scientist at Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences. Temuujin received his MS degree from Kiev Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine in 1991. Then he joined the Institute of Chemistry, Mongolian Academy of Sciences as a junior research fellow and worked on the utilization of natural minerals for value added products. In 1995, he awarded his PhD from Mongolian Technical University, then he went to Japan as a Post doctoral fellow at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
He was awarded postdoctoral fellowships from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, German Academic Exchange Organization (DAAD) and Royal Society (UK) to perform ceramic research. He also served as senior research fellow and adjunct senior research fellow at the Curtin University (Australia). In 2006, he was awarded his Doctor of Science (DSc) degree from the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. In 2011, he was elected into Mongolian Academy of Sciences and became Member.
