ABSTRACT

The report describes the present state of the requirement engineering for Expert systems that is the system which can provide expert advice for all critical situations. Requirement engineering is defined and requirement engineering activities are described. Expert system is then explained and a requirement engineering method that may be suitable for the Expert system is then introduced. The report concludes with summary and future research opportunities in the area of Expert systems requirement engineering.
