ABSTRACT
Medical imaging has taken the field of medical studies to a new height. It started from the simple X-Rays and now has reached up to Computerised Tomography (CT) scan. The development of various medical imaging techniques has enabled the medical practitioner to observe and study such depths of the human body which was thought impossible before. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is the latest development in this field. This paper deals to develop an application to help medical practitioners for analysing the Perfusion MR images and provide them important data such as CBV, CBF and MTT. These parameters help significantly in analysing and detecting various disorders like tumor, path physiological tissue state etc. Many such software have been developed in past but none have proved to be completely full proof. This paper proposes the most efficient deconvolution technique for an error free MR image processing.
Keywords: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Cerebral blood flow (CBV), Cerebral blood volume (CBF), Mean transit time (MTT).
