ABSTRACT
The widespread deployment of electronic voting equipment has put voting officials in a difficult position. The equipment has been deployed at great expense and transitioning away from it is difficult but every serious review of these systems has discovered significant flaws. Engineering new systems will take years, and many jurisdictions are unlikely to be able to afford new equipment in the near future. Thus we neutralize the flaws of the present voting systems like atomicity, anonymity, manual authentication and greater software reliability with limited transparency by making very few changes in the present hardware and software configurations.
