ABSTRACT

Creating and maintaining unique difference among competitors is the new mantra for succeeding in the business. Although India is a developing country; with its innovation and creativity it is set to give very tough competition to the rest of the world. In blue ocean strategy, industry does deal with an entirely new offer which does not have any market share. The main intention of blue ocean strategy is to provide new values at low cost to the customers. This paper is attempted to elucidate the concept of blue ocean strategy and its dominance over other marketing strategies. At the same time, this paper also examines the application of blue ocean strategy to India Inc. in order to gain sustainable competitive advantage over others.
