ABSTRACT

The basics for new and innovative metering pumps were developed at HSG-IMAT. The main goals of the development were a low cost disposable pump unit which is normally closed, self priming and adaptable on standard airless reservoirs such as soap bottles. The simple and modular design allows the use of pump fluids in a wide viscosity range with low power requirement. Experimental results with 2 demonstrators proved great robustness and wide usability of the concept.
