ABSTRACT

Awireless system on a chip (SOC) in 0.35 μm CMOS technology is implemented for telecare applications. The proposed system embraces a wireless transceiver, a bio-signal sensing front-end, and an Applicationspecific integrated circuit (ASIC). A 433MHz receiver receives a wireless ON/OFF keying (OOK) modulated command, which is further read and executed by an ASIC so that the detected bio-signal can be digitized and transmitted wirelessly.
