Biography
Chen shiun is the General Manager, Research and Development with Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB), a utility company in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. Dr. Chen graduated from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He moved to Singapore to take up an academic position with the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). In December 2008, he left NTU after 10-year of service and joined SEB to set up a Research & Development Division. He has developed several programs on Energy Systems, investigation of alternative energy resources such as solar and micro-hydro and for rural electrification through a sustainable process.
