<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p></p><p> Response and the ultimate failure mode of seismically isolated bridges subjected to more severe ground motions than the design ground motions are not verified during the design process. In this study, the effects of column height on the seismic reliability and the ultimate failure mode were investigated based on incremental dynamic analysis and fragility analysis. It was shown that nonlinear response characteristics and the ultimate failure mode vary significantly depending on the column height.</p><p> Keywords:seismically isolated bridges, seismic reliability, failure mode, capacity ratio, column height </p>
