<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>This paper constructs a fault tree to model the reliability of a two-terminal artillery communication system. Firstly, the fault tree modeling algorithm to the two-terminal artillery communication system is introduced. Subsequently, failure modes and their influencing factors to the two-terminal artillery communication system are analysed. .On these basis, both qualitative and quantitative analysis of the number of failures to calculate the reliability of the twoterminal system are carried out. Moreover, the importance analysis of failure modes and their influencing factors is accomplished. The results of this paper has been used in the real two-terminal artillery communication system in china.</p>
