ABSTRACT

The article presents the method of evaluation of availability and readiness of technical objects (vehicles) in an executive subsystem. The semi-Markov model was used to determine the probabilistic characteristics. The research was carried out on the basis of real observations obtained from trucks' on-board computers. The analysis of probabilistic characteristics of objects readiness as well as time spent in the distinguished operating states enables the search for optimal algorithms of using and operating vehicles. It also enables the analysis of the system of operation from the point of view of fleet readiness.
Above all, the obtained results confirmed the validity of using such models for the assessment of availability and readiness indicators. The aim of the article was also to present the method of calculation using the semi-Markov processes. Finally, the importance of testing the readiness of both the entire system and individual vehicles was emphasized.
