<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>4M2020 is a Coordinated Support Action (CSA) funded by the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme for the support of cluster activities of projects in the application fields of the NMP Theme. The vision of 4M2020 is to build on existing partnerships and innovation chains to develop new long-term collaborations, and to develop these in areas that are of major importance within the European Union. To understand current partnerships, and also to identify the longer term opportunities, a Foresight Forum was hosted by the 4M2020 Partnership that invited 20 projects funded under the FP7 programme to identify common barriers and opportunities, and also to identify future key products in ten market sectors. This was achieved by comparing the activity within the 20 projects with three relevant roadmaps (Nanofuture, Manufuture, and Minam), and by conducting a Delphi analysis with the experts gathered at the Forum. The analysis of the Forum outputs provided insights into key theme areas linked to the value chains identified in the Nanofuture roadmap and matching these to the current drafts of the proposed 2016/17 calls of Horizon 2020, major bottlenecks, and also key products in ten market sectors. </p><p>Keywords: 4M2020, Foresight forum, Delphi analysis, Nanofuture, Manufuture, Minam. </p>
