<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>In this work, nano-structured surfaces were manufactured by injection molding to obtain osteoinductive materials for bone replacement applications. A polylactic acid was selected as injected material, due to its better replication capabilities compared to polystyrene. A design of experiments approach was applied to the optimization of the process in order to maximize the replicated height of the nano pillars. The effects of mold temperature, injection speed, holding pressure and cavity air evacuation were investigated. </p><p>Keywords: Nano injection molding, Replication technologies, Cells growth. </p>
