ABSTRACT

In this work, Navier type analytical solution is presented for the analyis of moderately thick laminated composite plates. The analytical solution is based on third order shear deformation theory (TSDT). Nonlocal distribution of stresses based on Eringen's approach has been accounted in the analysis. Analytical solution for particular laminate is presented to demonstrate the length scale effects in using such a nonlocal TSDT in comparison to classical TSDT.
