ABSTRACT

In the present work we will demonstrate the effect of actual stress distribution called prebuckled stresses on buckling load of laminates under shear load (both positive and negative) which can be significantly different from those obtained using the uniform stress distribution assumption. Further, the influence of load direction on type of analysis is also studied. Keywords: Buckling, Laminates, Shear loading, Cut-outs.
