This communication presents some real-time techniques for ultrasonic imaging with phased arrays. The first one is a high-resolution imaging technique that is a generalization of the SAFT method for multi-element probes. The second one is a self-adaptive algorithm (called SAUL method) developed to inspect immersed complex composite structures, such as CFRP stringers or stiffeners. The last real-time processing is an auto-focusing algorithm that optimizes the flaw de-tection in components with complex and variable geometries.
