<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>School disaster education is important factor for disaster management. In Kashmir of
Pakistan, the large earthquake occurred in 2005. This paper is the case study in the affected
area of the earthquake and proposes school disaster education which is necessary in such
area in order to utilize disaster affected experiences. Disaster experiences are emphasized by
students and teachers in the affected area for future disasters. This paper proposes essay and
drawing competition to share the experiences among students as education program which
can be done by school teachers without specialized knowledge of disaster management. The
collected essays and drawings include various kinds of topics. The essays and drawings
can be utilized as education material for future students to know past disasters. The paper
introduces education material including the essays and drawing and the guidelines to
utilize the material. The guidelines provide how to conduct competitions and how to utilize
the material. Education using disaster experiences is expected to contribute to students to
imagine disaster situation and to motivate them to learn disaster management.</p>
