The use of RAP material in asphalt mixture will increase its mechanical properties such as stiffness modulus and resistance to permanent deformation. This study aims to compare the resilient modulus and dynamic modulus of asphalt mixture using RAP material. A series of laboratory test has been conducted to three mixtures were tested using UMATTA and AMPT respectively, one mixture of completely virgin material and the other two consist of 20% and 30% of RAP material. The resilient modulus is based on any loading form with rest period, while the dynamic modulus is derived from a sinusoidal or haversine loading with no rest period. The result of resilient modulus and dynamic modulus test showed that the mixtures incorporating with RAP material have a better value compared to the mixture with virgin material. The resilient modulus and dynamic modulus can be compared by converting loading time of resilient modulus to angular frequency of dynamic modulus and the predicted dynamic modulus in particular frequency can be determined by using fitting parameter of master curve. A plot of average dynamic modulus versus average resilient modulus then being developed. The result showed that resilient modulus value is almost 1.4 times of the predicted dynamic modulus.
