ABSTRACT
In recent times, the domestic and foreign construction projects have made gradual progress in big-scale projects. However, efficient management of these mega-projects is difficult owing to the conflicting demands of stakeholders, as well as the functional overlapping and interference between individual projects. To solve these problems, this research team uses IT to manage urban renewal projects in the form of mega-projects, and has been developing the web-based mixed information management system of I-PgMIS to provide real-time information to the stakeholders. During the last two years and eight months, unit systems for program cost management, program duration management, performance management, and E-manual have been developed as the primary management technologies of I-PgMIS. This paper focuses on developing integrated user interfaces for I-PgMIS to enhance the usability and efficiency of the program management for mega-projects such as urban renewal projects. Using these user interfaces, the user is able to more easily and conveniently perform the tasks. The final version of I-PgMIS which will be developed is expected to be used as a valuable tool to support the successful execution of mega-projects including urban renewal projects.
