ABSTRACT

The dynamic behavior of pile foundations with a deepened pile-cap was evaluated experimentally. We evaluated the influence of such factors as the pile-cap deepening, quantity of piles in the foundation, ground structure, and orientation of a pile group about the vibration direction on the vibration amplitudes. It was established that the pile-cap deepening enables to decrease essentially the vibration amplitudes.
