ABSTRACT
This paper focuses on development of new water vapor adsorbent material, named AQSOA-Z01, Z02 and Z05 those are aluminophosphate based zeolite with AFI or CHA structure, for adsorption heat pump (AHP). Water vapor adsorption isotherms of AQSOA material show S-shape and change according with temperature. AQSOA materials have very high durability against water vapor adsorption-desorption cycles. This durability test was done until 200,000 cycles. Those results show that AQSOA materials have enough durability in practical use. Also, we have developed AQSOA coated heat exchanger due to increase heat transfer between AQSOA material and fin of heat exchanger. AQSOA-Z01 coated heat exchanger was evaluated physical durability test. Any damage was not observed in physical. Also, any decomposition was not observed in water vapor adsorption isotherm. Those results show AQSOA-Z01 coated heat exchanger has enough physical durability and reliability.
