Welcome Message
Singapore is proud to be the host of the 12th World Conference on Continuing Engineering Education. This is the first time that the conference is jointly organized with other Engineering Education conferences as part of the World Engineering Education Forum (WEEF). During the first 2 days of the conferences held at the National University of Singapore, WCCEE delegates will interact with other CEE colleagues to exchange ideas and interact on the latest trends and development in professional engineering development worldwide. Prominent CEE personnel will deliver the two prestigious IACEE Award Lectures as well as Keynote and Invited Lectures. Discussion sessions are also arranged to discuss issues related to continuing engineering education quality assurance and its role on global workforce needs. The last day of the conference will be part of WEEF to be held at Marina Bay Sands Resort. Sessions on life long learning will be held and delegates have opportunities to interact with other engineering education personnel including deans of engineering, engineering faculty, practicing engineers as well as engineering students.
In the capacity of Local Organising Chair, I sincerely welcome all of you to the WCCEE and wishing you a fruitful conference and interactions ahead. For delegates from overseas, I wish you a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Singapore.
