ABSTRACT
Baosteel has developed “Top 10 research and training program” in the recent two years. The program has been proved to be an effective tool to improve the technical personnel’s abilities to solve the problems due to its close combination with Baosteel’s production. The “Top 10 research and training program” focuses on ten representative problems about product quality and production technology. In the program, the related experts and technical personnel get together to do some researchs and have some discussions, trying to find the cause of the problems and puting forward the solutions, making full use of the cooperation between the experts and technical personnel, thus meeting the demands of production and business of Baosteel. The paper introduces the features, the process and the effects of the program, and describes its importance in the talents'-training and production of Baosteel.
