Research on Collaborative Relationships of Government, Universities and Enterprises of CEE in China

ABSTRACT
Continuing Engineering Education (CEE) is an important way to implement strategies to achieve powerful country, to strengthen construction and raise quality of the professional and technical personnel. After several decades of development in China, there has been basically formed a continuing engineering education system led by China government, composed of adult institutions in university, independent adult institutions, research institutes, associations, training institutions in enterprise and for-profit education institutions. These participating institutions collaborate and cooperate to give full play to their potential, to meet the state, enterprises and individuals to the needs of CEE and improve CEE to a new level.
Based on the current situation of CEE in China and learned from the successful experiences of developed countries, the paper analyses the existing problems of continuing engineering education system in China and clarifies the characteristics of each participating subject, the advantages and disadvantages. By researching their development process to determine their position and responsibilities in continuing engineering education system, the paper finally put forward a new cooperative relationships model to promote the development of CEE in China.
