Play the Roles of Science & Technology Organizations in Improving the Development and Innovation of Continuing Education Programs

ABSTRACT
In the recent years, to satisfy the economic-social developmental needs focusing on the nation’s central tasks, China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) integrated continuing education systems with the state overall planning. The continuing education were designed to satisfy members’ needs, delivered in multi-formats through multi-channels at multi-levels, and tightly linked with economic and social market development, thus to play roles in improving Chinese science and technology communities’ professional quality and making great contributions to human talent development, HR construction, and R&D innovation. This article presents the successful practices/experiences of CAST, as an organization, in establishing continuing education systems.
