Profile
L. R. Natarajan, is an automobile engineer from Madras Institute of Technology. He has around 25 years of experience in various capacities in automobile and agricultural manufacturing industries. In his tenure, he has given leadership in implementing, three green field projects, namely Single Cylinder Diesel Engine, Multi-cylinder Diesel Engine and Tractor project.
While in Auto industry, Metal cutting theory & cutting tool design and world class manufacturing practices, were his favorite subjects.
In the Last 10 years, at TITAN– he led the Integrated Supply Chain Management for both Tanishq and Goldplus brand. He was also primarily responsible for conceiving and commencing the BRAND “GOLD PLUS”.
Presently, he is working in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer of the New Business division in Titan Industries. In addition, he is heading the Innovation Council in the company.
He is a member of Tata Group Innovation Forum (TGIF). He is in the board of the Tata Ceramics Limited. He is presently the Chairman of the Hosur Chapter of Madras Management Association.
“Getting disturbed, when things are going fine”, and institutionalising the culture of innovation, in the team, are some of his working habits. Other than work, he is a keen follower of national and international cricket.
