<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>The research paper aims to understand, identify, prototype and propose design decisions based on ergonomics to perpetuate cognitive thinking. It intends to examine the relevance of human factors in architecture and design of spaces with respect to human perception and performance. Through this research we are looking at common spaces within a domsetic setup to see the impact of spatial organization on the human perception and how they respond to space.
To carry out this study &#8220;kitchen&#8221; was selected as the main program and to explore the notion of space, ergonomics and performance this research looks into disparate cultures and user groups and looks into how the same program of kitchen constitutes of varied components in response to each context.</p>
