Electrically conductive plastics compounds based on one type of filler show limited electrical conductivities. By combining different fillers in micro and nanometre range synergetic effects can be obtained regarding not only the electrical conductivity but also the mechanical properties and the processability. In this paper synergetic effects of copper fibres combined with carbon black, carbon nanotubes and a low melting metal alloy in a polyamide 6 matrix are discussed.
