ABSTRACT
The fire risk of external thermal insulation system is mainly flame spreading. The polystyrene or polyurethane foam is not safe to fire for external insulation but these materials are widely used in our country. Without proper study to improve the fire retardant level to meet the fire safety requirement, there is no alternative material available. Therefore we should focus on valid fireproofing measures to improve fire safety grade of external thermal insulation in our country.
